Rangers Will Open 2011 Against Red Sox

The Texas Rangers are in the middle of a playoff push for 2010, but they've already released their 2011 schedule.

The Rangers say they'll open the 2011 regular season at home against Boston on April 1, making the third season in a row that Texas has opened the season at home.

The Rangers also will host Florida, Houston and the New York Mets in interleague play in late June and early July. Texas will play interleague games on the road in Philadelphia in late May and in atlanta in mid-June.

Texas will finish the regular season with a three-game series in Anaheim, Calif., against the American League West rivals, the Los Angeles Angels.
