The Rangers were on fire Sunday afternoon after taking the third and final game against the Boston Red Sox at the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.

Sunday's win puts the Rangers a half-game up in the American League wild-card race.

After an embarrassing loss on Friday night at the ballpark, the Rangers took two of three in the series.

Next up, the Minnesota Twins come to Arlington.

Meanwhile, Rangers catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia will undergo an MRI on Monday to take a look at his sore throwing shoulder.

Salty left Friday's game during the fourth inning and is on the DL for at least 15 days.
