Rangers' Frisco Affiliate Undergoes Makeover

Take a quick look at what will likely be the Opening Day roster for the Texas Rangers' Double-A affiliate in Frisco, and you'll see a ton of big names in the minor-league baseball world that lives and dies with prospects and projections.

Of course, there's Joey Gallo and Jorge Alfaro, and Nomar Mazara, and Jake Thompson and Alex "Chi-Chi" Gonzalez, and the list goes on. There are plenty of good reasons to go watch games in Frisco this year, at least until some of those guys start making their way to Round Rock for a promotion to Triple-A.

And when fans head out to Dr Pepper Ballpark in Frisco this year, they'll be seeing the RoughRiders in a brand new look that goes back to the team's roots, so to say, by incorporating Teddy Roosevelt, for whom the team is named after because of Roosevelt's volunteer troops.

As you can see, the logo is pretty sweet. And if you're not familiar with OldHossRadbourn's Twitter account, you should be. Great job rebranding though, in all seriousness, as it's fun to have ol' Chuck Greenberg back in the local baseball picture.
