With the 2015 season on the horizon, it's time to start talking fantasy baseball drafts and where, if at all, you should target Rangers.
Right field: Shin-Soo Choo
2014 stats: .242 batting average, .340 on-base percentage, .714 OPS, 19 doubles, 13 home runs, 40 RBIs, 131 strikeouts, 58 walks, 123 games
Choo was setting the world on fire in April of last season before turning his ankle and Oakland, and from that point his season went gradually downhill until he finally shut it down in August to rest the ailing ankle.
As you can see from the near-100 point difference between his batting average and on-base percentage, Choo still has the ability to be an on-base monster, but you'd like to see both of those numbers come up a bit after last year's down season.
If Choo is healthy and can play a full season like he did April of last season, he's going to be a fantasy beast. But be careful here if you're planning on drafting him and pick your spot wisely.
