Raiders Star DE Says Von Miller's Contract Offer Is “Slap In The Face”

Khalil Mack is scratching his head when it comes to Von Mller's contract negotiations

It's Von Miller's time to get paid.

He knows it, and so do the Denver Broncos.  For now, the Broncos are applying the 1-year franchise tag on Miller, but both parties want a long-term deal.

Denver offered a the defensive end, ouside linebacker a contract worth over $114-million over six years.  However, only $38.5-million is guranteed, while other star defensive players have recently signed contracts worth $50-million or more.

Since he was drafted in 2011, Miller has averaged 12 sacks a year.  He's coming off a strong season, capped by a Super Bowl MVP where he brought down Cam Newton twice in the season's biggest game.

Oakland Raiders star defensive end Khalil Mack doesn't understand why Miller isn't getting exactly what he wants.

"I feel like it was a slap in the face, but at the same time it is what it is.  I can only wish the best for the man," said Mack regarding the lack of guranteed money offered to Miller.
