RG3 Now Probable for Sunday

With Colt McCoy, the Washington Redskins quarterback who played the game of his life and beat the Cowboys in Dallas back in October, on the shelf with a bulging disk, the Cowboys were looking to face either Robert Griffin III or Kirk Cousins in the regular-season finale on Sunday.

It appears more likely now that the Redskins starter will be Griffin, as he practiced in full on Friday and was upgraded to probable after was limited in Wednesday's and Thursday's practices after suffering a sprained shoulder in last week's win over the Eagles that gave the Cowboys the NFC East title.

Griffin has had a rough year, suffering an injury in Week 1 and then hearing how Cousins was the guy head coach Jay Gruden wanted all along, only to see him struggle and McCoy take over and beat the Cowboys all while taking public verbal jab after public verbal jab from his head coach.

Now, he has one last chance, perhaps, to upstage Gruden in what could be his final game as a Redskin, though it's more likely it'll be Gruden's final game as the head coach.
