Pregnancy Test Ordered For Nowitzki's Ex

Dirk Nowitzki's lawyer has said Christa Taylor's pregnancy claim is likely a tall tale.
The jailed ex-girlfriend of Dallas Mavericks star Dirk Nowitzki must undergo a pregnancy test.
A judge Friday ordered the test and said results will determine whether DNA testing is necessary as Nowitzki seeks sole custody of the child Cristal Taylor claims to be carrying.
The Dallas Morning News reports family court Associate Judge Randall Grubbs said the first testing must be done, and "the other one may be moot."
Grubbs sealed the proceedings.
Taylor was arrested May 6 at Nowitzki's home in Dallas on a 2006 theft of services charge in Jefferson County involving dental work.
Taylor remained jailed Friday in St. Charles, Mo., on $25,000 cash bail, for probation violation in a forgery case.
Attorney Scott Renick of Beaumont said he only represents Taylor on the criminal matter and declined comment.
