Power Rankings: NFC East

In a weekly post, we'll talk about where teams in the NFC East sit after each weekend of play.

1. Dallas Cowboys (8-3) โ€” The Cowboys went on the road again on Sunday night, and they won another road game at a division rival this time with their last-minute comeback win over the Giants. Tony Romo is playing better than he ever has, DeMarco Murray is a 100-yard machine (10 100-yard games in 11 tries) and Dez Bryant is feeling it. The defense is yet to have been exposed like we're all waiting on, but until the Eagles can do that, the Cowboys have the top spot heading into their Thanksgiving Day game.

2. Philadelphia Eagles (8-3) โ€” Mark Sanchez has thrown six touchdowns and five interceptions since taking over for the injured Nick Foles, so basically, his numbers have been identical to Foles'. The thing with the Eagles is, their return game is so scary with the addition of Darren Sproles. The Eagles got walloped in Green Bay and then beat a bad Titans team easily on Sunday. The Cowboys don't lose on the road, but they have lost three of their six home games, so that's going in the Eagles' favor.

3. New York Giants (3-8) โ€” The Giants have their moments, but they just can't put together many four-quarter games to get wins. Look at last week, when they led the Cowboys 21-10 at halftime only to cough it up in the second half. All that said, the Giants do have one of the game's most explosive, promising young players in Odell Beckham.

4. Washington Redskins (3-8) โ€” Things are just falling apart more and more each week for the Redskins, who have now benched Robert Griffin III in favor of Colt McCoy, basically ending RG3's reign in D.C. after three years in a huge fall from grace. It's just flat-out ugly, and makes it even worse to think about the fact they handed Dallas one of its three losses.
