Peja Stojakovic has been scratched from Dallas' lineup for Wednesday night's game against New Orleans because of back spasms.

It would have been Stojakovic's first chance to play in New Orleans since the Hornets traded him to Toronto in November.

Stojakovic has a history of back problems and says he had a flare up on Tuesday. He is averaging 8.1 points in 13 games -- all starts -- since joining Dallas in late January.

Meanwhile, Mavs center Tyson Chandler is not committing to coming back from his right ankle sprain against the Hornets. Chandler says he felt good at Wednesday morning's shootaround and wants to face his former team, but needs to be mindful of the need to stay healthy for the long-term and into the playoffs.
