The Opponent: The Giants were running hot heading into their Sunday night matchup in Philadelphia in a key NFC East matchup. They left beaten, bruised and battered after being shut out in embarrassing fashion. Now, they come to Arlington where Eli Manning has traditionally been fantastic.
Past Meetings: The Cowboys lead the all-time series 59-43-2 with three wins over the G-men in the past two seasons, including a season sweep last season.
Key Matchup: Cowboys defensive line vs. Giants quarterback Eli Manning — Manning has traditionally ripped the Cowboys' secondary to shreds, especially in Arlington. This year's edition of the secondary is improved, and despite a low sack total, the defensive line is making things uncomfortable for opposing quarterbacks, just ask Seattle's Russell Wilson. If the Cowboys' defensive front can pester Manning enough, he's definitely not above throwing some errant balls and even some interceptions.
Who's Hot: Not much of anything for the Giants after their 27-0 defeat by the Eagles on Sunday night. Rueben Randle continued to be big part of the passing game in what is becoming his breakout season. He caught five passes on Sunday night for a team-high 58 yards and will assume an even larger role in the Giants' offense with Victor Cruz out for the season.
Where do we start? Pretty much everyone except for the special teams played a near-perfect game on Sunday afternoon in upsetting the Seahawks at home. But no one is hotter than the Cowboys' young, mammoth offensive line and running back DeMarco Murray, who joined Jim Brown on Sunday as the only players in NFL history to rush for at least 100 yards in his team's first six games. That's history, folks.
Who's Not: Where do we start? Manning didn't throw a pick on Sunday night, so he had that going for him, but he threw for just 151 yards in the Giants' loss. The team's psyche was shaken with Cruz's gruesome injury, which left him in hysterics, along with several of his teammates and even some Eagles players. It's likely a mentally drained team coming to town.
