NFL Postpones Community Events Due to Weather

Several events planned for Tuesday in Arlington and Dallas in conjunction with Super Bowl XLV  are postponed due to inclement weather.

Included in the events postponed are the NFL Play 60 challenge school visit with Dallas Cowboys Brian McCann and Danny McCray scheduled for Bebensee Elementary School in Arlington as well as two events in Dallas.

The Dallas events are the Welcome Home a Hero event with Cowboys players Phil Costa and Chris Gronkowski and a NFL Youth Football donation to be made to the Boys & Girls Clubs of North Texas by former NFL players Tony Casillas and Anthony Munoz.

Also postponed is the NFL and Nicktoons Debut Rush Zone with former player Michael Strahan which was to take place at the NFL Experience at the Dallas Convention Center.

Also canceled is the AISD Youth Master Class scheduled for 11 a.m. at the Arlington Museum of Art.  Planners hoped to reschedule for 5 p.m., though that will not happen due to an AISD policy on inclement weather days and extracurricular activities.

New dates and times for these events will be announced by the NFL shortly.
