Notre Dame can forget about stealing Urban Meyer away from Florida.

The Gator coach said a a press conference Monday that he plans to stay in Gainesville for "as long as they'll have me."

Meyer, 45, who came to Florida after guiding Utah to an undefeated season in 2004, once called Notre Dame his "dream job." With speculation building that the Fighting Irish will dump hapless Charlie Weis at the end of the season, Notre Dame was expected to make a play for Meyer.

Meyer earns $4 million a year at Florida, where his teams won national championships in 2006 and 2008 and are currently ranked No. 1.

The storied South Bend, Indiana school may target Oklahoma Coach Bob Stoopes or Cincinnati's Brian Kelly next, according to experts.

Meyer weighed in on one person he believes has the tools to take his job one day, saying senior quarterback Tim Tebow could coach Florida some day.
