Mavs Fever is in full effect. Hundreds of MFFLs lined up at the AAC Wednesday morning hoping to score tickets to the Western Conference Finals.
The Mavericks, whom everyone likely knows by now, swept the Lakers out of the playoffs in a 4-0 rout in the best of seven series. With the series win, the Mavs are headed back to the Western Finals for the first time since the team's 2006. The Mavs won that series too and earned their first ever berth in the NBA Finals.
I think we probably also all remember how that played out.
Anyhow, those wanting tickets for Games 1 and 2 can buy them online or by telephone (214-747-MAVS) or at the American Airlines Center box office.
Tickets for Games 5 and 7, if necessary, will be on sale at a later date.
The Mavs will have home court advantage in the series and will face either the Memphis Grizzlies or Oklahoma City Thunder. The Thunder-Grizzlies series is currently tied at 2-2.
