The Dallas Mavericks will hit the road Friday night to face the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City. This will be the Mavericks' second trip to Utah this season, after the Jazz won the first matchup back in November, 97-81.
The road has been unkind to the Mavericks, as they are just 1-11 away from the American Airlines Center.
Dallas is set to play seven of their next nine games on the road and will see Portland, the Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State on this trip.
The Mavericks' last win on the road was Nov. 8 when they beat the Lakers in Los Angeles, 109-97.
Defense needs to improve if the Mavericks want to change their woes away from Dallas. The Mavericks are giving up just over 103 points a game on the road.
The Mavericks are 6-19 on the season and are last in the Western Conference. Tip-off against the Utah Jazz is 9:30 p.m.
