Kevin Sumlin Lands Another Top QB Recruit

Yessir…is back.

Kellen Monde is on board and committed to Texas A&M.  The No. 3 dual threat signal caller in the country jumped off his Baylor pledge for 2017 after Art Briles was fired.

Back in early May, Aggies coach Kevin Sumlin was getting lots of negative media, fan, and social media coverage because five start quarterback recruit, Tate Martell, decommitted. Martel is now committed to Ohio State.

All that backlash and Sumlin got a better QB prospect, because Martell changed his mind — as high school kids often do.  Martell is 5-foot-10. Monde is 6-foot-3.

Monde is a better fit, in my opinion, for the offense new offensive coordinator Noel Mazzone. He's the highest-ranked Aggies prospect in 2017.
