Joseph Randle Glad to Put Shoplifting Incident Behind Him

Randle received deferred adjudication in connection with his shoplifting arrest last October

After receiving deferred adjudication stemming from his shoplifting arrest last October at Stonebriar Mall in Frisco, Cowboys running back Joseph Randle is just glad to have the ordeal behind him, his attorney said this week.

“He’s just relieved and ready to move on and focus on training camp,” Randle’s attorney Steven Bell said, per the Dallas Morning News. “He’s a good young man.”

Randle was arrested last year after he left a Dillard’s department store with a pack of underwear and a tester bottle of cologne. According to the Morning News, the Cowboys may fine Randle between $10,000 and $30,000, but he won’t be suspended by the team.

Earlier this offseason, authorities in Kansas said that Randle would not face any felony domestic violence charges in connection with an incident in a hotel room in Wichita in January.
