The Texas Rangers have put left-hander Matt Harrison on the disabled list with left shoulder inflammation for the second time this season, and recalled right-hander Tommy Hunter from Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Hunter was set to start tonight in Harrison's spot against San Diego.

Harrison was placed on the 15-day DL, retroactive to Wednesday, a day after he pitched 3 2-3 innings against Arizona. He missed 19 games earlier this season while on the DL.

Hunter allowed three runs in 5 1-3 innings in his only other start for Texas this season, a no-decision in the first game of a doubleheader against Oakland on May 29.

He was sent back to Oklahoma City before the second game of that doubleheader.
