The city of Grand Prairie, the YMCA, the Grand Prairie Police Department and the Grand Prairie Independent School District are teaming up for a free Midnight Basketball Program.

The weekly summer program is being held on Thursday nights between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. and is open to teenagers between the ages of 13 and 18.

The games will take place at the Grand Prairie YMCA, located at 4556 S. Carrier Parkway.

In order to take part in the program, teenagers must get a referral from either the YMCA, the Grand Prairie Police Department, Grand Prairie Parks and Recreation or GPISD.
