TCU head football coach Gary Patterson.

TCU head football coach Gary Patterson will throw out the first pitch at Tuesday's Fort Worth Cats game versus the Gary South Shore Railcats.

See, Tuesday night is Gary night at LaGrave Field because the Cats are playing Gary and Gary is throwing out the ceremonial first pitch. To help celebrate the occasion, anyone named Gary gets in free with a valid ID.  Makes sense.

Call all your buddies named Gary and let them know the game begins at 7:05 p.m.

The Cats are home for a six-game homestand, three against Gary and three against Shreveport-Bossier this weekend. The Cats lost Monday's contest to Gary 4-0.

Fort Worth is 29-32 this season so far, 12.5 games behind the Grand Prairie AirHogs in the AA South Division.

When is Frank night? I'll be warming up.
