Former Dallas Star Headlines The 2016 Hockey Hall Of Fame Class

The 2016 Hockey Hall Of Fame class was announced and a former Dallas Star headlines the class.

Eric Lindros, who spent the 2006-2007 season with the Stars, finally made the cut after being passed over for six years.

Lindros played in 49 regular season games for Stars and appeared in three postseason games with Dallas in the 2007 playoffs.

Dallas was the last stop in Lindros' hall of fame career. The 43-year-old played for three other teams including the Philadelphia Flyers, New York Rangers and the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Joining Lindros in the 2016 Hockey Hall Of Fame class is forward Sergei Makarov, goaltender Rogie Vachon and late coach and executive Pat Quinn.

Induction is set for November.
