Final Four Floor Tour Makes North Texas Stops

They've taken up the turf at AT&T Stadium in Arlington and are nearly ready to install the hardwood floor for the Final Four.

But before the floor hits the stadium's door, it's making some stops on a Final Four Floor Tour.

The floor will tour to four spots in North Texas before the Final Four begins.

  • Klyde Warren Park in Dallas on Wednesday, March 26 from noon to 2 p.m.
  • Integrated Athletic Development in Carrollton on Wednesday, March, 26 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Stockyard Station in Fort Worth on Thursday, March 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Texas Christian University in Fort Worth on Thursday, March 27 from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Finally, the floor will arrive at AT&T Stadium in Arlington on Friday, March 28 at 8 a.m.

The men's floor will be on tour, all made portable in panels of 4 feet by 7 feet. To get to the total of 9,800-square-feet used for the entire floor, 371 panels weighing about 188 pounds each are assembled by teams of 10 to 12 people in about five hours.

Those are some floor facts, but if you want more you might want to check out the Final Four Floor Tour.
