Fantasy Land: Studs and Duds, Week 12

A two-time champion in a hardcore keeper league, including some know-it-all media "experts," Adam Boedeker gives his fantasy expertise on a weekly basis.

Stud of the Week
Matthew Stafford, QB, DET — Stafford is traditionally very good on Turkey Day, and he's also very good at home. Those two things obviously coincide as the Lions are annual hosts on Thanksgiving Day. The most appealing part about this week for Stafford? The fact he's playing an Eagles team with a leaky secondary that has allowed some big performances for opposing quarterbacks. Need evidence? Look no further than last week when rookie Jameis Winston tossed five touchdown passes against them.

Honorable mention: Brian Hoyer, HOU (vs. NO): Javorius Allen, BAL (at CLE); James Jones, GB (vs. CHI); Amari Cooper, OAK (at TEN).

Dud of the Week
Brock Osweiler, QB, DEN — The Broncos have long wondered what they had in Osweiler, who's rookie deal expires after this season, and now they're finally getting a chance to decide what the future holds for him in their organization. Last week, in his starting debut, Osweiler had a really nice showing. This week, though, could be different. He faces a good Patriots defense on Sunday night.

Honorable mention: Tony Romo, DAL (vs. CAR); James White, NE (at DEN); Jeremy Maclin, KC (vs. BUF); Tavon Austin, STL (at CIN).
