FC Dallas Set for First MLS Cup Appearance

The MLS Cup will be headed to a new home this weekend and FC Dallas says taking the title back to Texas would be huge.

Coach Schellas Hyndman says a win over the Colorado Rapids would be great for the city and the 240,000 youth soccer players in the Dallas area.

Hyndman says an MLS championship would bring pride to Big D and prompt people to say: "One day I hope to be part of that FC Dallas team."

Dallas has never before played for Major League Soccer championship. Colorado made it to the final once, losing in 1997.

The game is set for Sunday night at Toronto's BMO Field. The winner becomes the ninth MLS team to take the title.
