Eriksson's Power-Play Goal Lifts Stars

Loui Eriksson scored a go-ahead, power-play goal with 3:42 left to give the Dallas Stars a 3-2 victory on Saturday and send the Nashville Predators to their fourth straight loss.

While Shea Weber served a boarding penalty, Eriksson set up in front of the net and redirected newly acquired defenseman Alex Goligoski's shot past Pekka Rinne for his 21st goal.

Earlier in the third period, Goligoski scored his first goal since being acquired by the Stars from Pittsburgh on Monday.

Tom Wandell added a goal, and Kari Lehtonen made 25 saves for the Stars, who snapped their season-worst, five-game losing streak Thursday at Detroit. Dallas has won two straight for the first time since Jan. 17-20.

Colin Wilson and Ryan Suter scored, David Legwand had two assists, and Rinne stopped 22 shots for the Predators, who had been shut out in their previous two games.
