The Dallas Cowboys sent a delegation to Athens, GA last week to work out former Georgia receiver Chris Conley, an interesting prospect who is projected to come off the board in the mid-rounds and had one of the more impressive Combine performances in, well, ever for his position.

“It would be an honor to play for the Cowboys,” Conley writes. “Those guys are ballers. They are called America's Team for a reason--a great organization with a winning tradition. It was cool to be able to interact and work with those guys. Moving forward, this process is something I continue to take in stride. Having the honor to work with teams like the Cowboys, one that I have watched on TV and seen that star on their helmet, is pretty surreal. So it was a cool moment.”
At the Combine, Conley ran the 40-yard dash in 4.35 seconds, and recorded a 45-inch vertical and a 139-inch broad jump, the best ever broad jump for a wide receiver. Last season, he led the Bulldogs in receiving yards and touchdowns in 11 games and nine starts.
