Cowboys Turn Their Focus to Philly

The Cowboys only have three days to prepare for their Thanksgiving Day matchup with the Eagles

The Dallas Cowboys didn’t have much time to revel in their 31-28 victory over the rival New York Giants at MetLife Stadium on Sunday night. After the win, they showered and flew back to Dallas. They’ll practice this afternoon in preparation for Thursday’s Thanksgiving Day matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles.

You’ve got to move on,” said running back DeMarco Murray, per Todd Archer of ESPN Dallas.

Wide receiver Dez Bryant added: “When we land in Dallas, (this) game no longer matters.”

The win over the Giants puts the Cowboys in a tie for first place in the NFC East with the Eagles going into Thursday, with each team at 8-3. This is the first matchup between the teams this season.

“You have to watch the tape,” said tight end Jason Witten. “We will have to do it on our own because Thursday is going to come on us quick, but it is always good to get a win these games before Thanksgiving.”
