Cowboys Receivers Coach Knocked Unconscious

Cowboys receivers coach Jimmy Robinson was knocked unconscious by receiver Teddy Williams during a punt drill earlier Saturday at the Alamodome. The team medical staff quickly attended to Robinson and asked for assistance from the emergency medical staff who were there.

The good news is head coach Jason Garrett said Robinson sounds good but no timetable has been set for his return, according to NBC5 sports anchor Matt Barrie.

In the meantime Keith O'Quinn works with the receivers while Robinson recovers.

Robinson, 58, was released from a San Antonio hospital where he underwent tests Saturday night.

Practice continued for a short time after the collision, but it was stopped when Cowboys players and coaches became concerned, according to the Star-Telegram.
