Cowboys Lead Dolphins at Half, 14-7

The Cowboys are looking to snap a historic seven-game win streak

After 30 minutes in Miami, the Dallas Cowboys are leading the Dolphins, 14-7.

The Cowboys got on the board in the second quarter when Rolando McClain intercepted Ryan Tannehill and returned it 12 yards for the touchdown. They’d extend that lead with about a minute remaining in the half with a 31 yard touchdown pass from Tony Romo to Terrance Williams. It was the team’s first offensive touchdown in seven quarters

In his return, Romo is 9-of-16 for 132 yards, a touchdown and an interception, which looked like the result of some miscommunication between the quarterback and Dez Bryant.

It looked like the Cowboys would take a 14-0 lead into half but an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty called on Bryant and Terrance Williams after the touchdown and a short kick set the Dolphins up at their own 46 and they quickly marched down the field, scoring on a 12 yard pass from Tannehill to tight end Jordan Cameron. The drive took three plays, and just 52 seconds.

At half, it’s Cowboys 14, Dolphins 7.
