Cowboys Have Turned the Tables on Giants' Dominance

Remember way back when Eli Manning just never lost in Arlington? Don’t look now, but the Cowboys are suddenly successful on the Giants’ home turf.

Dallas has won its last two trips to MetLife Stadium and Sunday will attempt to win three straight on the road against the Giants for the first time since Roger Staubach called the shots.

These days the Cowboys are the NFL’s only unbeaten road team at 4-0. They’re favored to make it 5-0, in a place where in the last two seasons unlikely heroes named Kevin Ogletree and Jeff Heath have led the victories.

In the 2012 upset of the defending champs, Ogletree amassed eight catches for 114 yards and two touchdowns in a 24-17 win. And a year ago, Nov. 24, it was Heath who scooped and scored on a 50-yard fumble return to give Dallas an early lead it sealed with a Dan Bailey field goal in the final minute for a 24-21 victory.

Manning and the Giants may have won their first four trips into the Cowboys’ $1.2 billion stadium, but the Cowboys are poised to win three in-a-row in New York/Jersey for the first time since 1977-79.

And, if you dare to remember Dez Bryant’s left pinkie landing out of bounds in the back of the end zone in 2012, the Cowboys are inches away from winning five straight against their once-feared NFC East rivals.
