Cowboys Add Two for Linebacker Depth

The Cowboys have signed linebackers Jonathan Brown and Ka'Lial Glaud to provide some much-needed linebacker depth

After losing Justin Jackson for the year with a torn ACL over the weekend, the Dallas Cowboys added some much-needed linebacker depth during the day off on Monday, in Jonathan Brown and Ka’Lial Glaud.

Glaud originally came into the league as an undrafted free agent out of Rutgers in May of 2013, when he joined the Buccaneers. He appeared in seven games that season, and recorded a pair of tackles. Last year, he once again spent time with the Bucs but this time around, his contribution was limited to the practice squad.

Brown, a University of Illinois product, has spent time on the Cardinals’ practice squad as well as that of the Chicago Bears.

The Cowboys made room for the additions by waiving linebacker Justin Anderson and offensive tackle Reshod Fortenberry.

The signings give the Cowboys 11 available linebackers in camp.
