JB Tucker's 10th-inning RBI double was the difference as Grand Prairie edged the Cats 3-2 on Sunday night at LaGrave Field.

The loss was the Cats' third straight and sixth in their last seven games.

After a 97-minute rain delay between the top and bottom of the second inning, the AirHogs took a 1-0 lead on an unearned run in the third inning as with two outs, Mike Conroy hit a grounder to second that was mishandled for an error, allowing a run to score.

They made it 2-0 in the fourth as catcher JB Tucker doubled with two outs and then scored on a Daniel Berg single, his first RBI in a Grand Prairie uniform.

The Cats would get on the scoreboard in the fifth inning as Ron Fenwick drew a one-out walk. Later in the inning, Fenwick would score on a Michael Bell RBI single.

The score remained 2-1 until the bottom of the ninth when Bell delivered again, driving home Brian Fryer with a single to center to knot the game 2-2.

In the tenth, Mike Conroy led off with a single. One out later Javier Brito hit into a fielder's choice, Chad Gabriel single before Tucker doubled to left for a 3-2 AirHogs lead.

Greg Krause allowed just a walk in the 10th inning, closing out the game for his first save of the season.

James Morrison (4-3), who gave up the lead in the ninth with a run on two hits, recorded his fourth win of the season. Gary Lee allowed the 10th inning run to suffer the loss and fall to 0-1 for Fort Worth.

Former AirHog Nat Harris goes to the mound on Monday for the Cats in the second game of the four-game series. Game time is 7:05 p.m.
