Professional Bull Riders is bringing the first true head-to-head competition for its riders and the largest one-day payout in the PBR's history.
Now there's going to be a bunch of bull at the new Cowboys Stadium.
Professional Bull Riders (PBR) is bringing a unique tournament event created exclusively for the stadium, the first true head-to-head competition for its riders and the largest one-day payout in the PBR's history -- at least $260,000 for the winner.
Organizers said Friday that there will be 24 riders in the Iron Cowboy Invitational, a bracket-style competition determined by the world standings at the end of this season.
Riders will be paired, both riding the same bull and the one with the highest score advancing to the next round. If both riders are bucked off, the one who stays on the longest will advance.
The event is Feb. 20, the weekend after the NBA All-Star game is held in the stadium.
