Bruce Carter Says He'll Miss Giants Game

Carter has missed the last two games with a strained quad

Dallas Cowboys linebacker Bruce Carter won’t play in Sunday’s NFC East matchup with the Giants at AT&T Stadium but believes he’ll be back in Week 8.

Carter has missed the past two weeks with a quad injury suffered in the win over the New Orleans Saints. Before that, he had been putting together quite a nice season, with 25 tackles, a sack and an interception.

Carter will spend this week doing rehab work in anticipation of next week’s meeting with the Redskins.

I ran today, did some band work, did some squats,” Carter said, per the Dallas Morning News. “I should be back next week. I feel good. It’s just a matter of getting my strength back and getting myself back in shape.”
