It's out with the Dallas Stars and in with Bob Knight in Duncanville.

Hall of Fame basketball coach Bob Knight is teaming up with the city of Duncanville and Realty Capital to open the first Bob Knight's Fieldhouse in the former location of the Stars'Center.

The Stars closed the center after they said they were losing millions keeping it open.

Bob Knight's Fieldhouse will be the only major basketball/volleyball facility south of Interstate 30 in the Metroplex. The facility, which is scheduled to open in February of 2010, will feature six full size basketball courts and 10 volleyball courts that will be used primarily for youth basketball and volleyball leagues, clinics, tournaments and performance training.

In addition, the facility will offer adult rec leagues and other sporting and community activities.

The facility will also house a learning center for children, which can be used for after-school education enrichment or study sessions.
