Baylor Women Sign 3 Texas Natives to Letters

Three Texas natives have signed national letters of intent with the Baylor Lady Bears.

Eighth-ranked Baylor announced the signings Wednesday of a pair of 5-foot-9 guards, Alyssa Dry and Alexandria Gulley, and 6-foor-4 forward Justis Szczepanski-Beavers.

Gulley is the point guard for Dallas Skyline, where she averaged 13.6 points, 3.8 assists and 2.0 steals per game as a junior last season.

Dry and Szczepanski-Beavers are both from Fort Worth and played at Aledo last season but now attend IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.

Szczepanski-Beavers averaged 14.5 points, 8.2 rebounds and 4.0 blocks per game for Aledo. Dry was the District 7-4A MVP after averaging 16.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 4.2 steals a game.
