Baylor Failed to Help Sex Assault Victims: ESPN Report

An ESPN report says Baylor University failed to act on complaints by three female students that they were sexually assaulted by a former football player who was later convicted.

Tevin Elliott was convicted in 2014 of sexually assaulting one of the students and sentenced to 20 years in prison. He told EPSN that the sex was consensual.

Sam Ukwuachu was sentenced last year to six months in jail for sexual assault.

While Baylor didn't respond directly to any of ESPN's claims, the university says it has taken many steps to help combat sexual assault on campus and says student safety is a priority.
