All-Star Concessions at AAC

Nacho-average game food

The chefs from Levy Restaurants at The American Airlines Center have come up with a new NBA-inspired menu for fans. That means choice grub isn’t meant only for fancy pants people who hang out in the Platinum Club.

Chef Brian Johnson and his own all-star team of chefs estimates they will serve 10,000 hot dogs, 2,000 pounds of chicken, 8,000 fresh baked cookies, 200 gallons of fresh made salsa, 4,000 fresh corn tortillas for chips and 1,200 pounds of romaine lettuce. Talk about feeding an army. Jeez.

Food -- Find it:
Tacos at En Fuego in the main concourse
Texas cheese steak and catfish at the Texas State Fair Stand
Fajita nachos at the Edge of Texas stand

Drink -- Find It:
New Bacardi Mojito station and an El Jimador Margarita station located on the East and West Landings of the Platinum Level

Party -- Crash It:
Guests of luxury suites can nosh on lobster mac n’ cheese, fajitas, pulled pork quesadillas and Texas 9-layer dip. If you meet someone who has a coveted pass to a private event at the AAC, expect a menu of baby lamb chops grilled and brushed with herbs de Provence, arancini (fried rice balls) filled with fontina cheese, onions, tomatoes and ground beef, and jumbo scallops wrapped in thick-cut peppered bacon.

Dessert -- Make It:
The chocolate-banana bread puddinig is a classic in the suites, but you don't have to have the pricy pass to savor the sweet treat. Chef Brian Johnson shared the recipe to you can make it at home, if you have a butane torch. Perhaps you could try to fire things up in time for Valentine's Day?
