The American Airlines Center will go Hi-Def next fall.

The AAC will install the first and only 1080 HD video scoreboard in the NBA or NHL.

Mavericks owner Mark Cuban revealed the upgrades on his Twitter page on Tuesday, but you can see it for yourself here.

AAC crews will spend the summer tripling the size of the arena's scoreboards. Six video scoreboards will be installed. Four 18'x30' video boards will be installed over the center of the arena and two 24' x 72' video walls will be placed in the North and South ends of the arena.

In addition to the video displays, crews will put in a state-of-the-art sound system.

Work is expected to be complete in time for the start of the basketball and hockey seasons.
