Ted Cruz Hires Senior Adviser in New Hampshire

After becoming the first Republican to officially enter the 2016 presidential race, Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas is hiring an adviser to build his campaign efforts in New Hampshire.

Ethan Zorfas, a top aide to New Hampshire Congressman Frank Guinta, is Cruz's first hire in the early voting state. In addition to working on Guinta's campaigns, Zorfas served as an adviser to newly elected Louisiana Sen. Bill Cassidy, who defeated Democratic incumbent Mary Landrieu in a runoff.

Cruz visited New Hampshire recently and will be back this weekend to speak to Republicans on the Seacoast and to a group of young conservatives at a gathering of Young America's Foundation in Nashua.

In April, he's scheduled to attend a New Hampshire Republican Party conference featuring most of the likely 2016 contenders.
