President Barack Obama is making a trip to Dallas next month.

Obama is expected to visit Dallas on Oct. 4. It is the first time the president has been in North Texas since August of last year.

Right now, there was no word if the president would make a public appearance or would be here just for a private fundraiser. However, The Dallas Morning News reports there will be two campaign fundraising luncheons while he is in town.

Obama was in El Paso in May when he toured the border and pitched immigration control. Per the Morning News, he also racked up $2 million in campaign contributions during a visit to Austin.

He may also promote his jobs bill, which he has been doing in various cities around the country since his address to the nation earlier this month.
