Perry Radio Ads Hit Airwaves

Perry ad blitz starts in key primary states

Iowa and New Hampshire voters should get ready to see and hear a lot more of Gov. Rick Perry.

The Texas governor is running radio ads in Iowa to accompany the TV ads running in the Hawkeye and Granite states.

The ad also mentions big names to grab listeners attention.

Perry's new radio spot focuses on the governor's flat tax plan.

"Rush Limbaugh calls it fabulous and a return to fiscal sanity. Mark Levin says Rick Perry has come up with one hell of a proposal," a narrator says.

Perry's ad also speaks to voters in the ad and takes a shot a Washington politicians.

"Washington's establishment doesn't get it. We're not going to fix things by tinkering around the edges. We need a complete overhaul of our tax system and government if we're going to create jobs. My optional 20-percent flat tax is so simple, you can file it on a postcard. My plan balances the budget and makes the IRS irrelevant in your life," Perry says in the ad.
