Gov. Rick Perry is labeling himself an "outsider" in his new campaign ad.

The new video, (watch below) is running in Iowa and on national cable networks.

The ad takes shots at Democratic leaders in Washington, including Sen. Harry Reid, Rep. Nancy Pelosi and President Barack Obama.

Perry also takes a veiled jab at his more DC-centric competitors in the ad.

"Replacing one Washington insider with another won't change a thing. If you want an outsider who'll overhaul Washington, then I'm your guy," Perry says in the ad.
