The latest CNN/ONC poll shows Gov. Rick Perry maintaining a double-digit lead in his race to be the GOP presidential nominee.

But being at the top is like playing the kids game "king of the mountain" -- people are going to try force you off the top of the heap.

The Revolution Super PAC, a political action committee that supports Rep. Ron Paul (but is not associated with him) has an ad bashing Perry and Mitt Romney, calling them everything from "plastic men" to pretty boys.

Perry's getting it from all sides, too.

Keep Conservatives United, a Super PAC backing Rep. Michele Bachmann, is airing a radio ad bashing Perry on immigration.

Expect the attack ads from third parties to keep coming.
