North Texas Democrats React to FBI Clinton Email Investigation

FBI director James Comey announced Friday he was reviewing new emails in the investigation into Hillary Clinton's emails and server.

"No, the timing is not good," said Carol Donovan, Chair of the Dallas County Democratic Party. "The bottom line is, what the FBI is looking at, and I feel very confident, that no matter what they're looking at, it's going to be just more of the same and they'll find no wrong doing."

The news took many Clinton supporters by sup rise. Call it an "October Surprise."

"I'm not dismissing the whole issue around the emails and so forth. That will play itself out," said Jean Hervey, International Vice President with SEIU Worker's United, which has endorsed Hillary Clinton. "I don't think that is the dominant piece that will drive people to the polls or change their minds about their support for the Secretary."

On the campaign trial in Iowa, Clinton said nothing about the emails. She told the crowd, "Donald Trump says he can still win, and he's right. Anything can happen in an election."
