Forest Hill closes city doors after fight

The confrontational saga of Forest Hill Mayor James Gosey and City Councilman Damian Dalcour includes disagreements on municipal business, allegations of sexual harassment, accusations of mental instability, a suspension handed down to the mayor before escalating last week into a physical affront.

Now, according to a Fort Worth Star-Telegram report, the tale moves on to both men being banned from certain parts of the City Hall building where they both are supposed to work, and work together on behalf of the city.

Police served notice in person to Dalcour and via a telephone call to Gosey. The councilman, according to the article may attend council meetings and go to the room in which executive sessions occur, but that’s it. The mayor is banned from council chambers and restricted to public areas of the building.

I’m not sure how all this bad blood began between the two former friends but it looks to be headed nowhere good.

If your differences, gentlemen, can’t be worked out civilly or politically, perhaps a resolution can be reached linearly.

Just get a freakin’ ruler and decide it once and for all.
