Feeling a little election anxiety? You're not the only one. Some people are so worried they're preparing for the worst and stocking up enough food to last a lifetime.
The emergency food supply company Wise Food Storage was in Arlington Friday, promoting its freeze-dried meals and dozens of people came out, looking to put some order in their lives.
"Natural disasters, terrorist attacks. There's so many different things that could happen," said seminar attendee Amy Zimmerman.
"We cannot lean on government,” Julio Santiago added. “We cannot lean on agencies to try to take care of us. We have to take care of ourselves."
Wise Food Storage is one way to do that.
"We have a product that can potentially save your life," said Marcus Sorensen, Executive VP of Sales & Marketing for the Wise Company.
One standard entrée kit offers 120 freeze-dried meals with a 25-year shelf life. But Wise Food managers say they're really selling peace of mind, and they're selling it hard in Texas. You may have heard the company’s radio and TV ads, asking if you’ll be ready when grocery store shelves empty and “food riots” start.

"It's not our intention to try and rile people up," said Sorenson, adding that the ads are meant to grab your attention for a serious question.
"What would I do to feed my family in the event of, you name it, fill in the blank," said Sorensen.
Right now, business is better than ever, especially in Texas, with real fears of what's coming after the election.
"I'm petrified from the political culture," said Zimmerman.
Zimmerman is against Hillary Clinton. She doesn't think the world will actually end if she's elected, but she's scared.
"The tensions around the world that she's going to create and I mean, it could happen with Trump, too, because a lot of people don't like him and there could be retaliation," Zimmerman said.
While we can't control that, a bucket of freeze-dried food is something concrete, anyone can do to keep Texans standing in their own two boots.
"One of the worst statements you can hear is 'I'm from the government and I'm here to help,'" said seminar attendee Michael Fox.
