Anuska Dillon's memory is now being shared on social media, along with this message: "Don't Keep Calm, and Stop Violence Against Women."

Dillon, 25, was found dead early Thursday in the master bedroom of a unit at the Harbor Cove Apartments in Pembroke Pines. Police say her boyfriend, Clifson Cerve, shot her in front of her young daughter before fleeing the home.

Police tracked down Cerve after a daylong search, when his 2001 white Nissan was spotted heading Southbound on Interstate 95 in Boynton Beach. After leading police on a pursuit, the suspected shooter turned the gun on himself. He died of a gunshot wound to the head.

Neighbors expressed disbelief about the deadly shooting Thursday.

"I was just terrified that it was in my neighborhood, right there," one woman said.

Friends of the victim are now trying to raise $20,000 to cover her funeral expenses using the site GoFundMe.com. To donate, click here and search "Anuska Dillon."
