A minor crash in West Hartford led to a bizarre incident in Hartford where police subdued a naked man they said was under the influence of PCP and marijuana.

West Hartford police said there was a minor crash in town and the driver fled the scene, then got into another crash near the 7-Eleven just over the line in Hartford.

Hartford police said they were called to a man accident on Park Street and Amity Street. On their way to the scene, police were informed that a tan Nissan Altima fled. The driver that was struck in a gray Toyota Corolla was transported to the hospital for minor injuries.

The Nissan then reportedly crashed into a fence at the 7-Eleven on 2120 Park Street.

Hartford police said the man was under the influence and possessed PCP and marijuana.

Amatur-Rahim had two narcotics warrants out for his arrest from New Britain. He was transported to Hartford Hospital for evaluation and treatment for minor injuries.
