Officials say two Woodrow Wilson High School students face arson charges after a fire last month closed the school for several days.
The students, both at least 15 years old, were arrested Tuesday during school hours, according to Dallas-Fire Rescue spokesman Jason Evans.
Evans said the students were allegedly smoking and burning paper in a closet in a third floor restroom when the fire took place.
The Lakewood area school was evacuated Jan. 26 due to the two-alarm fire.
No injuries were reported in the fire or evacuation. The fire was relatively small, according Evans, but there was extensive smoke and water damage.
