Woman Gunned Down at Fort Worth Store

A 29-year-old North Texas woman is dead after police say her ex-boyfriend chased her into a convenience store and shot her multiple times.

Fort Worth police said Saturday that Candalin Daniels and her relatives were walking to nearby convenience store Friday night when her ex-boyfriend chased her. He fired a shot through the store's front door as she entered.

Once inside, police said the man shot Daniels multiple times.

Before the shooting, police said Daniels was at home with friends and family when the ex-boyfriend showed up and struck Daniel's son in the head with a handgun.

The boy was treated and released from a local hospital.

Police are still looking for the man.
